Products & Expertise
Do our fruits contain added sugars? No. Our fruits are 100% natural — with no added sugars, no additives, no preservatives, no colorants. What you receive is solely the fruit, in its full integrity.
Why might some slices vary? The Originea works exclusively with natural fruits, selected and processed by hand. Variations in shape, color, or texture may appear from one slice to another: they reflect the fruit, the season, and its origin. We consider them the signature of authentic production.
Are the products vegan and gluten-free? Yes. All our dehydrated fruits are vegan, gluten-free, and naturally integrate into a healthy and balanced diet.
Are the products suitable for children? Yes. With no added sugars or additives, our fruits make a healthy snack suitable for the whole family. Simply adjust portions according to age.
Are the products suitable for people with diabetes? Our fruits contain no added sugar. However, dehydration naturally concentrates the fruit's sugars. We recommend that people with diabetes consult their doctor before consumption.
Fruit Origin
Are ORIGINEA fruits French? Yes. The Originea favors a selection of fruits of French origin, from orchards located within a radius of approximately 100 km around our production site in Drôme, when the season and harvests allow.
This proximity allows us to guarantee optimal freshness, to work with fruits harvested at maturity, to limit transportation, and to maintain a direct relationship with our producers.
When certain fruits are not locally available according to the season, The Originea selects European origins renowned for their quality, always transparently indicated on the product sheet.
Are the products organic? Our fruits are not all certified organic. We prioritize above all taste quality, traceability, and practices respectful of the fruit and its environment.
Processing & Storage
How are the fruits processed? The Originea fruits are washed, precisely sliced by hand, then slowly dehydrated at low temperature — for a minimum of 14 hours — to preserve their natural color, aromas, and authentic taste. No additives, no shortcuts.
What is the difference between dehydrated and dried fruit? The two terms are often confused. Low-temperature dehydration better preserves the aromas, color, and nutrients of the fruit than traditional high-temperature drying. At The Originea, we exclusively use slow, low-temperature dehydration to obtain a premium result.
How should dehydrated fruits be stored? Store in a cool, dry place away from light. After opening, carefully reseal the bag to preserve crunchiness and aromatic intensity.
What is the shelf life? The shelf life is indicated on each package. Generally, our fruits can be stored for up to 12 months under optimal conditions.
Use & Tasting
How to enjoy ORIGINEA fruits? They can be enjoyed in many ways: on their own, as a natural snack; in hot or cold infusions; as garnish for cocktails, mocktails, or aperitifs; to enhance desserts, pastries, or cheese platters; in creative cooking; or as a decorative touch on a table or during an event.
Can your fruits be used in cooking and baking? Absolutely. Our dehydrated fruits are perfect for creative cooking — rehydrated, incorporated into preparations, used as cake decoration, or infused into creams and sauces. Their concentrated flavor adds a premium touch to every creation.
What is the Signature Cocktails range? The Signature Cocktails range is designed for mixology and creation. The slices are selected for their aromatic intensity and their hold, ideal for refined drinks and elegant presentations.

Orders & Delivery
What are the preparation times? Each order is prepared by hand, in small batches, and shipped within 1 to 3 working days. For full details, please consult our Shipping Policy.
Where do you deliver? We deliver in mainland France and to many European countries. Available zones are indicated during payment.
What are the delivery times? Mainland France: 3 to 7 working days. Europe: 5 to 10 working days. These times may vary during holiday periods or busy times.
Is delivery free? Yes. Delivery is free for purchases over €45, automatically applied at checkout.
Will I receive a tracking number? Yes. A shipping confirmation email containing a tracking link is sent to you as soon as your package is taken over by the carrier.
My tracking says "delivered" but I haven't received anything. Check your mailbox and secure areas, ask your neighbors or household members, then contact the carrier directly. If the package remains untraceable, write to us within 48 hours at contact@theoriginea.com.
I entered a wrong delivery address. Contact us immediately at contact@theoriginea.com. If the order has not yet been shipped, we will do our best to correct the address. Once the package is handed over to the carrier, modification is no longer possible and reshipping fees may apply.
Returns & Claims
Can I return a product? Due to the food nature of our products, returns are not accepted except in case of defective or non-conforming product. For full details, please consult our Refund Policy.
What should I do if my package is damaged? Contact us within 48 hours of receipt at contact@theoriginea.com, attaching your order number and photos of the package. Each situation is carefully reviewed.
How long will it take to get a refund? Once approved, the refund is processed within 3 to 5 working days to the original payment method.
Can I cancel my order? Yes — only before shipment. Once the package has been taken over by the carrier, cancellation is no longer possible. Contact us without delay at contact@theoriginea.com.
Payments & Security
Is payment secure? Yes. All payments are processed via secure and encrypted providers. We never store your bank details.
I haven't received a confirmation email. Check your spam folder and promotions tab. If the email is still not found, write to us at contact@theoriginea.com — we will resend it as soon as possible.
